Alex Huther is a musician and educator based in San Antonio, Texas. He holds a degree in percussion performance from McNally Smith College of Music, where he had the privilege of studying under notable drummers and educators like Michael Blake and Gary Knudtson.
Throughout his career, Alex has collaborated with various artists, including Carson Jefferey, Kyle Park, Matt Caldwell, Jeff Dayton, and Michael Monroe Goodman. His versatile drumming style has allowed him to adapt to different musical genres and contribute to the unique sounds of these artists.
Currently, Alex holds the drum chair for several notable acts. He accompanies rising Americana star Mason Lively, Texas rock band JJ and The 45's, and Texas country artist Nate De Leon. With these artists, he showcases his musicianship, providing depth and momentum to their performances.
Apart from his work as a performer, Alex is also an enthusiastic educator. He runs a private lesson studio at the nationally recognized Jeff Ryder Drum Shop, where he shares his knowledge and passion for drumming with aspiring musicians.
